Mini piles are relatively small-diameter piles, typically with a diameter smaller than Ø40 cm. The length of the piles is limited to ensure continuity of the concrete in mini piles.
Mini piles are preferred as a load-bearing foundation system for lightweight structures. Additionally, mini pile works are used in foundation strengthening projects of existing buildings, both in basements and open areas. Mini piles are also used as vertical elements in retaining systems. Mini-pile systems are preferred in the solutions for foundation and retaining structures.
The concreting process of mini piles is applied by filling the completed shaft with clean aggregate and pumping cement slurry from the bottom of the shaft upwards, especially in soils affected by groundwater.
